St. David's Episcopal Church

One of my favorite places to take photos is at St. David’s Episcopal church in Lansing. Photographing the different seasons of the altar as well as the seasons of the year enables me to create a never ending gallery of photos. The photos featured in this topic are ones where I was experimenting with “Tone Mapping” which is a technique used in image processing to map a set of color to another which can give an appearance of high-dynamic-range. (Kind of a surreal look) Some of the images have been processed with a heavier effect than others so that I can learn the different effects individual setting have on different areas of the images.
